Fabrication Shop

M&D’s fabrication shop is ISO 3834 certified, ensuring adherence to stringent welding standards. The shop is equipped to handle a wide range of fabrication needs, including:

  • Structural, Mechanical, Piping, and Platework (SMPP): Capabilities include fabrication and erection of steel structures, mechanical installations, piping systems, and platework for various industrial applications.
  • Tank Construction: The fabrication shop supports the construction of tanks and vessels, including new builds, repairs, and modifications. The tanks are built to comply with international standards such as API 650, API 653, API 620, and EN 14015.

Fabrication Capabilities

Trotech’s fabrication capabilities are comprehensive and cater to various client needs, including:

  • Atmospheric Storage Tanks: Trotech designs and constructs a variety of tanks such as fixed cone/dome roof tanks, internal and external floating roof tanks, geodesic dome roof tanks, double wall tanks, cryogenic tanks, and pressurized tanks.
  • Tank Jacking System: This innovative method allows the majority of the construction work to be performed at ground level, significantly reducing risks and improving quality. The system is beneficial for erecting new tanks, repairing existing tanks, and expanding storage capacity.
  • Semi-Automated Welding: Utilizing flux core gas-assisted welding with magnetic tracks, this method enhances welding precision and efficiency. Pre-set programs help eliminate human error, ensuring consistent weld quality.
