At M&D Construction, we believe that true growth goes beyond the structures we build — it’s about uplifting the communities around us.
This past July, as part of our Madiba Month initiatives, we had the privilege of partnering with the Humanitarian Empowerment Fund to bring hope and positive change to the community of Elsies River in the Cape Flats, Cape Town.
Through a R100,000 contribution, M&D Construction supported the renovation of two classrooms and the provision of 130 stationery packs at the Tehilla Early Childhood Development Centre.
The children at Tehilla ECD come from a community deeply affected by drugs, alcohol, and gangsterism. It is our hope that by investing in their education and creating a safe, inspiring learning environment, we are helping to nurture their dreams and build a foundation for a brighter future.
We are deeply moved by the heartfelt message from the Humanitarian Empowerment Fund, who shared that our collective efforts have “brought hope to these children.”
Thank you to everyone who played a part in this initiative — proof that when we work together, we can build more than infrastructure; we can build hope.
