M&D’s Chris Porter (Head: Roads and Earthworks) completed the Sani2C 2015 Adventure!
The Nedbank Sani2C is a promotional event aimed at uplifting the regions involved through creating awareness on tourism potential and conservation. It consists of three, three day events – The Trial, Adventure and Race.
This year, M&D was represented, in their new colours, by Chris and his teammate and brother, Lance.
The brothers finished the three day long, 267 km event in a total of 15 hours and 4 mins, finishing 264th overall (out of +/-800) and coming in at 19th in their age class. They did this cycle challenge which includes a total ascent of 3305 m at an average speed of 17,7 km/hr with their maximum speed being 58 km/hr.
