On the 28 January 2015, Hominin House, an Educational Facility at the Maropeng Visitor Centre, was handed over by Kobus Koekemoer, one of our Building Division’s Contracts Managers, to the Board of Directors of Maropeng.

The facility is available for hire, to both the public and educational organisations as an overnight centre for those visiting the esteemed Heritage site,  and offers space for up to 120 students with separate rooms for adults and dormitory style arrangements for students.

Maropeng is the official visitor centre for The Cradle of Humankind World Heritage site in Gauteng, South Africa and The Sterkfontein Caves. Click here to view their site: http://www.maropeng.co.za/news/entry/new-year-new-hominin-house
